The Question:

I love the Get Lean Workouts, but hate doing cardio. I have foot pronation problems that preclude me from running (causes terrible knee and hip pain). Stairmaster? Quintessentially boring.
Stationary bikes? Yawn.
Aerobics classes? Too much planning involved & then there's the fighting over mirror space with overly-tan women who appear not to have eaten since 1974. Sorry for that rant!

Here's my question: Given that I can't use the treadmills, are there other machines that do a great job of getting the heart rate up quickly? How about those crazy machines that look like cross-country skiing? Others?

The Answer:

Hey, don't worry about the ranting, we're here to help in any way we can! That was kinda funny too!

You know, there are so many neat aerobic machines out there these days. Have you tried the Elyptical Cross Trainer machines? These are awesome! The machines that look like cross-country skiing are also great for you. These are normally made by Nordic Trac.

With all these neat machines out there you will never have to use a treadmill again if you don't want to!
